How FixMyHome Works, and What It Does Not Claim

Every guide on this site is decoded from the manufacturer's own documentation for that appliance family: service code lists, owner manuals and official support material, rewritten in plain English and organised by what actually fails most often. We do not claim hands-on repair experience we do not have, we do not copy manual text or brand photos, and we mark repair costs and part prices as estimates because they are.

Our safety rule is fixed: guides stop at checks a homeowner can do safely from outside the machine. Anything involving gas lines, sealed refrigerant, or live electrical testing inside a cabinet is marked as professional work, every time.
